The Dhital Resource Center is located about an hour's hike north east of the Astam library. Walking the ridgline that stretches from Astam, through the Dhitals V.D.C’s, the small school appears just past a local roadside shrine and above a local noodle shop within the Kalika village. Built in the summer of 2014, the buildings purpose is to act as a resource center for the local school children, of whom, are some of the poorest in the area. It has been furnished with large cabinets to hold school materials, engineered against the formidable weather, and supplied with 5 tables to support the computer component of the resource center. In collaboration with Logged On Foundation, we strive to bridge the illiterate crevices that prove endemic to poverty and fill the digital void between developed and developing countries.
